End of Spring Break

As you can tell, we have been pretty busy for the last month with Spring Break and college zone at our hotel.  It's been fun though!!  Great skiing in the month of March with tree skiing at its prime.

When I was a kid, my dad would take me and my brother up to the top of Snoqualmie Pass in Washington state and we would get off that sketchy chairlift they used to make (you know, the one with the rope net at the bottom so if you fell off the lift right before the the end, it would catch you-always helpful).  Oh, did I not mention my mother, who dislikes trees very much would come with us up there too?  Yes, good old days from back then.  We called this run we were about to embark on "hug-a-tree."  No, not because we are such environmentally savvy people-which we were, but because my mom, not matter what, eventually "hugged a tree" on these runs and we had to dig out her skis which were always set on the wrong din setting because they would pop off and she would be a foot deep in slushy rain snow.  It's what makes a family a family.
