#101 post

My mother, the ant queen, is such an inspiration to my writing habits   What she writes is just darn right funny, entertaining and a bit LOCO.  The p's (short for parentals), they live in Mexico where they are rebuilding a house, crushing the invasion of ant farms and having a grand old time.

Well, I went to read her blog today and she said it is 56 degrees out and so cold she thinks she is coming down with a cold.  I think I could go for some warm weather above 24 degrees, put on my swimmin suit and sunbathe all day.  But, nope not right now.  We must keep skiing, snowboarding, tubing, ice fishing...such a rough life.

Did you know people at school in Mississippi (where if you did not see, had a giant tornado blow through 9 counties on Sunday), get to take yesterday and today off from school to celebrate the Mardis Gras holiday?  What a ridiculous holiday and I'm jealous.  Did you see +Keystone Resort Mardi Gras party today from 230-5pm with live music and food?  The +Holiday Inn is offering a 30% discount rate tonight if you call 970.668.5000 ask for rate code IDOTH30.

See you later guys!

Snow Sculptures

The 2013 international snow scultpture championshiop kicked off in Janauary and many teams entered to get their design into the public eye and win bragging rights.  This year, Mongolia won with an intense scultpure in Breckenridge.  The scultpures were built at the base of +Breckenridge Ski Resort, so those skiing during the day had the chance to stop by and view them on their way back to their cars.  I love walking around in my ski boots-not sure about you.  JK, but it was a good end-of-day site seeing adventure for people.
