Warrior Dash 2012

When was the last time you remember being wet, muddy, slimy, cold and dirty all at the same time?  Well these people don't have think long until they remember it was just last weekend where they were running through tires, over fire and climbing walls of the unthinkable.  Yep, that's right, Warrior Dash 2012 at Copper Mountain Resort in Colorado brought a lot of "tough cookies" out to play in the mud all day.  If you want a taste of what these fierce competitors went through, check out this link and sign up for next year

These are just the pre-pictures, that web site says it all for the mud.

MOOSE

I posted this picture of a moose on my news feed for my personal facebook page.  I didn't think much of it because I have seen then so many times in my life in Washington State, maybe they are a bit rare up in Summit County...anyway it went viral (well not "you tube" viral-we all wish we could be that famous) and so I posted it on the Holiday Inn Facebook and now here.  This was taken back in May during one of my first camping trips of the summer, he ran off too fast for me to get a closer picture and I don't think he was too excited about a giant white truck chasing slowly him down the dirt road **be nice to the wildlife**
