Year in Review

The Holiday Inn Summit County made some great strides in 2012, check out what we did last year!!

-In one year we moved from #7 to #1 out of 23 hotels in Frisco, Colorado-what a great achievement to be on top and be the favored lodging location in Frisco!! We couldn't have done it without the great staff, wonderful management team who trained everyone, and AWESOME guests!!

-Each year the Susan G. Komen event “Tubbs Romp to Stomp Out Breast Cancer” is held in Frisco.  At this event you will see thousands of people snowshoeing around in the snow dressed in pink tutu’s or feather boas and having a great time and raising money and awareness for cancer research.  This year, the Romp to Stomp Out Breast Cancer’s evening party will be held at the Holiday Inn Summit County where we will sponsor food for the event and banquet space.  To further support this organization, the Holiday Inn Summit County is raising money for Susan G. Komen until March 2013.  For every “like” on the Holiday Inn’s facebook page, $1 will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.  So far in our efforts, we have raised over $500 since October when we started the dollars for cancer care challenge to initially support Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  We hope to triple that by the end of March.  www.facebook.com/holidayinnfrisco

Here are some pictures of events at and around the hotel:

Colorado Ski and Snowboard Expo-November 2-4, 2012-The Holiday Inn Summit County team parked themselves at a booth for 12 hours 3 days in a row, met some really cool skier and snowboarder dudes and gals, promoted the hotel, gave away free stuff, got free stuff and lost their voices-that’s how much fun it was.  The t-shirts were designed by the hotel marketing director and people left and right are asking for one of their own.

Summit Chamber Mixer- November 15 @ The Holiday Inn Summit County and Sporting News Grill-175 participants enjoyed networking, eating great food and raving about their local businesses.

Going Green in 2013-The Holiday Inn Summit County is partnering with the Town of Frisco’s High County Conservation Group to help our community “go green.”  Among adding lobby, business center and office recycling, the Holiday Inn plans to add an in-room recycling program in 2013.
