Today I went driving over to FIRC to see if they had any rinky dink things I might need, or rather, not need and also possibly some bins for storage, which i later found are just a great buy at Wal-Mart. I also had a car-load of items to drop off (so if you are looking for women's size 2 pants, books out your ears and many seasons of two and a half men, you might invest in a trip to FIRC in dillon tomorrow). On the way to drop off these items, I attempted a U-turn in the middle of the street. It doesn't say no U-turn so I'm ok right? Well mid U-turn, pedestrian begins to walk on the side of the street where i want to turn around. Just as I am looking at how slow she is walking, a giant summit stage bus comes at me from the side. The slow walking lady then stops. In the middle of where I'm trying to turn to get away from giant bus. And then while she is stopped, looks at me, looks at the bus and then points at is as if I don't see it and I don't realize I need to get this U-turn over with so we both don't get smashed into. Then she looks back at me, an annoyed look like why am I holding up this bus and making her walk difficult. Lady, just go to the Farmer's Market already.
The Farmer's Market in Dillon is every Friday during the summer and attracts a lot of residents and out-of-town vacationers. And you have to realize it is going on before you set out to run errands like U-turning and FIRC on a Friday. Here are a few pictures of the Farmer's Market, located just 7 minutes from the @holidaynsummit in Frisco.
